Zincir's  Projects

Zincir App mobile application was developed in May 2021 with the support oft he EU Civil Society Programme, with the aim of bringing together events organized by civil society actors in the fields of Gender Equality, Climate Change and Environment, and Youth organizations.

This project aims to strengthen public and civil society cooperation in climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts. It seeks to increase the public's capacity regarding climate change through education, awareness, and information activities; and to encourage behavioral changes that will reduce human-caused greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, the project contributes to raising awareness for a sustainable future by supporting the development of creative ideas in the field of waste management, particularly among children and young people.

Zincir Social Initiative was launched immediately after the Kahramanmaraş earthquake disaster on February 6, 2023, with the reflex of providing a solution to  post-disaster needs, and focused on assisting earthquake victims in need of evacuation from the disaster area.
